Acoustic Design Systems (ADS) a commercial and residential home automation and security solutions company, has partnered with Parasol, a 24/7 remote support company, to launch a monthly service plan to proactively maintain smart home technology systems in mid-market homes, high-scale custom homes and commercial facilities in the Southern Nevada area.

Offering remote monitoring and service plans has been a priority for ADS since the industry concept was introduced years ago, however they felt there were no strong solutions for integrators to develop an infrastructure until Parasol came along. Now with the current economic environment and social distancing standards in place, ADS decided to fast track its partnership with Parasol, becoming an early adopter of white label remote monitoring services.

“Until recently, our industry struggled to find a way for homeowners to have 24/7 support for home automation,” explains Christopher Sterle, founder and CEO of ADS. “Most service plan costs are out of reach for the mid-market homeowner in Las Vegas, but now we have a contactless way to proactively manage their connectivity that adds value, saves money and keeps them safe, while reducing our service calls and keeping our team safe as well.”

Offered as a monthly subscription, the service plan provides proactive and reactive remote monitoring and repairs, bi-annual firmware updates, app control, priority service visit scheduling, unlimited access to local technical support staff through Parasol, and 24/7 email, text, phone and chat support. For any issues and repairs that require hands on assistance, on-site service from ADS is available Monday through Saturday.

While the monthly service plan will help with network and audio video connectivity, issues with security alarm systems will be handled through security companies directly unless systems were installed and are monitored by ADS.
