D&H Distributing’s fifth annual Digital Convergence Expo, held this month in Camp Hill, Pa., attracted approximately 500 attendees–60 percent digital integrators and 40 percent A/V installers, said the company—as well as approximately 40 vendors for a day of seminars, networking and product demonstrations.
The diverse makeup of the vendors, some from the CE side and some from the IT side, reflected the mix of interests of the attendees and the overall theme of the show: convergence.
Intel showed off its new ViiV platform at the event. Dan Schwab, D&H vice president of marketing, sees potential in ViiV, and the distributor is putting much effort behind promoting it. “It starts bringing [convergence] together,” he said.
