, a brand-agnostic website built by an expert consortium of manufacturers, integrators and suppliers where consumers can educate themselves about home tech trends and solutions, is sponsoring the first annual National Smart Home Day Saturday, Nov. 3. The event brings together brands from across the smart home and home entertainment industries to participate in a joint Facebook live video stream with each participant holding the virtual stage for 10 to 20 minutes to share their “origin stories” and provide an overview for homeowners of their smart home product solutions. The event will also enlist the participation of custom installers, who will provide tips for a successful smart home. A partial roster of participants in the event includes Crestron, Origin Acoustics, Rayva,, Barco Residential, TruAudio, and Control4.

The live video feed, emanating from the Rayva showroom in New York, will be viewable online beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on the group’s Facebook page, and is expected to last for several hours.
