Epson has announced availability for its compact Pro L10-Series interchangeable-lens laser projectors – an extension to its Pro L-Series line of premium projectors.

The 6,000-lumen Pro L1060U and 7,000-lumen Pro L1070U and Pro L1075U combine advanced installation features with a minimalist, discreet design.

They feature 3LCD technology and native WUXGA resolution with 4K Enhancement Technology, as well as being compatible with Epson’s current 11-lens Pro L-Series lens family, including the .35 throw ratio ultra short-throw lens with zero offset. They are further equipped with built-in edge blending, image warping and shape overlay features and with professional installation features for multi-projection setup, says the company. The projectors also can accommodate USB storage media for direct playback of content from same, says Epson.

Besides offering up to 7,000 Lumens of equal color and white brightness from a compact, large-venue laser projector, the models’ solid-state laser light source and air filter provide what Epson says is virtually maintenance-free operation for up to 20,000 hours; their limited warranty is for three years.

Simplified installation features include full 360-degree mounting, wide lens shift, and versatile connectivity and inputs including HDBaseTTM and HDMI (HDCP 2.2), and brightness is adjustable to maximize source life and keep levels consistent, says Epson. The projectors are also manageable remotely via the Web or a network.

The Pro L160U, Pro L1070U and Pro L 1075U projectors are available now, and white cabinet WXGA Models Pro L1060W and Pro L1070W are to be made available in March.
