The manufacturer Fusion Research last week announced a change in focus, which will entail reducing prices on its main products -including Cinema Players and Genesis- as well as concentrating more fully on its media server business.

“Fusion has been building a reputation as a great alternative in the media server space for the custom integrator,” the company’s CEO, Joe Storm, said in a statement announcing the changes. “We have been consistently increasing our sales and brand awareness in the market, but we felt that we could improve our value to the customer by adjusting our prices. We have streamlined our product line to have all our products support 1080p and have moved away from residential control systems.”
