Cloud-enabled smart home and commercial controls company On Controls has added Powerline Control Systems to the company’s Partners in Control cooperative program. The Partners in Control program was created to achieve “seamless compatibility between the On Controls platform and a vast array of connected device manufacturers,” the company explained.
The addition of Powerline Control Systems brings in a company that develops “high-quality lighting and electrical control devices” for residential and commercial industrial markets, On Controls said. PCS provides a range of products designed to use standard power lines to communicate control signals without additional wiring, which provides integrators with a flexible and efficient lighting control option.
“On Controls welcomes PCS to the On Controls Partners in Control program and we are excited to offer this high level of efficiency and advanced functionality to our network of professional integrators,” On Controls Director of Control Jeff Skalny said in a statement. “The PulseWorx driver works with UPB (Universal Power Bus) devices, enabling integrators to address their client’s lighting control needs within a wide array of price points.”
Scott Klodowski, director of sales and marketing at PCS, added, “The On Controls app is an elegant and attractive interface for consumers—and now integrators can benefit from drag-and-drop simplicity when utilizing the PCS PulseWorx Gateway within the On Controls platform.”
