Multi-room A/V and home control manufacturer Elan Home Systems announced it will host its third Elan TRIO Dealer Summit from May 17 to 19 at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Ky. Registration is now open to all Elan dealers.

The program is geared specifically toward business owners, salespeople and installation supervisors; targeted content and courses are designed for each constituency. The event includes sales and project management training, motivational presentations and evening entertainment.

Elan said the event will bring together its dealers, VIA! Integration Partners, independent sales reps and media members. TRIO alternates annually with Elan’s TechWeek dealer program, a more technical, hands-on event which is designed specifically for installers.

The theme of TRIO this year is “Wired and Inspired,” with a focus on bringing dealers closer together to “leverage the group intelligence and expertise, and to share best business practices.” Topics will range from running a business to staffing sessions, competition, problem solving, new products, selling techniques and more, said Elan.

The event will feature two keynote presentations and more than 26 courses, seminars and roundtable discussions. Elan sister company Sunfire will also participate, offering courses on selling Sunfire products and related luxury goods and presenting live home theater demonstrations. Elan also expects other manufacturing partners will serve as sponsors, and add to the curriculum and product demonstrations.

Nightly networking receptions and entertainment will be held, as well as advance previews of new Elan products scheduled to debut at CEDIA EXPO 2007, opportunities to offer direct feedback on Elan’s product process, and one-on-one meetings with Elan staff.

Registration will be limited to 375 attendees; registration fees are $875 per person, including hotel accommodations, food, courses and workshops, Summit materials, entertainment and more. Registration fees per person without hotel accommodations are $475. Elan’s Top 100 Dealers for 2006 gain special discounts. Additionally, “special rewards” are being offered to those who sign up through February 28, 2007.
