Savant has introduced a new line of Micro Aperture architectural loudspeakers that are versatile, easy to install, and blend seamlessly into any space. The release includes three in-ceiling models complete with Balanced Mode Radiator: the self-powered PoE speaker, Companion PoE satellite speaker, and passive (4-ohm) speaker (for interface with traditional audio systems).

Packed inside each one is a highly efficient amplifier that reduces installation time while delivering the utmost level of sound quality. The Balanced Mode Radiator works to provide more sound per watt of amplifier power into any listening area. Each self-powered Savant Micro Aperture is capable of running up to three passive satellite speakers that will self-regulate the output power based upon the POE type of switch or injector in use.

Not only do the loudspeakers include Savant’s exclusive INTALL EZE system to ensure quick and easy installation, but they’re also extremely décor friendly. Each one sits flush in the ceiling with compact, paintable, round or square 4-inch grilles that complement the look of the Savant/USAI recessed lighting.

Since each unit is individually controlled and connected to the network, users can easily transition sound from room-to-room. For example, dining room speakers can provide appropriate dinner music but later become the rear (surround) channels for a home theater system. Through the Micro Aperture line by Savant, installers can truly provide entertainment content anywhere that exhibits single Ethernet cable connectivity.
